Or, in my case.....
"People who are working thier butts off, raising a family, and fishing every possible moment that isn't reserved for family or business don't have time to write about it."
(I am typing this one handed while babysitting my sick, one year old daughter, as the wife is out delivering girl scout cookies with my other daughter. )
Life has been good. The shop has been prosperous. We've had alot of curious locals, and some dedicated non-local customers who have traveled some distance to do business. But, spare time has been, well.....spare. Time to write or think about writing has been hard to come by. I have a clever thought I should blog, but then the phone rings, and I've got to dye up another color of turkey tail.

Hmm... Swing flies or write?
Along with running the shop and raising the family, it is steelhead time. And
fish steelhead, I have. Alot. In fact, more than I have in any of the past few
years. The water has been great, and I've even had a few fish to hand, and had a real heart breaker of a fish - not to hand. Water levels are looking good
again for my coming weekend, and I'm not going to stay home and update my blog.
With that said, I've got a runny nose to chase down and wipe. If you are anywere near the shop, please stop in. Thanks everyone for the support, and I look forward to seeing more new faces through the shop door!
